What is My Policy on Rescheduling/Cancelling Shoots?

How Much Notice to Give

I like to be as flexible as possible and luckily with my current schedule and level of business, I am able to be very lenient and flexible. That said, please try to give as much notice as you can.

Rescheduling Due to Weather

This is of course beyond our control. For outdoor sessions, we are at the mercy of the weather conditions. If it is raining or very windy, we will have to reschedule. If we are shooting by the lake, we will also need to look at what the sky is looking like. Pictures will come out much with visible mountains and a little bit of blue in the sky. On a gloomy/foggy day, it is up to you whether you would like to reschedule or move the shoot to a forest location or even indoors instead.

I will be in touch the day before the shoot and we can make a decision up to 1 hour before the shoot about whether we want to reschedule or move to a different location.

Rescheduling Due to Illness

In these times, it is so important to limit contact during illness. This counts for you, but also for me. If anyone part of the photoshoot is unwell, please let me know and we will reschedule.

Rescheduling Due to Little One's Nap Schedule

We want everyone in the shoot to be happy. If you find that a child's nap is going to interfere with the shoot, please let me know so we can find a different time. I would rather work with a happy well-rested child and value that over sticking to our appointed time slot.

Cancelling

If you need to cancel for any reason, I am happy to respect your decision. Please give me as much notice as you can, and you don't have to worry about losing a deposit because I don't require deposits.
